  4. 52.5 is pretty darn good, we think! Our human has read only 21.5...hangs head in mock shame. Apparently she spends too much time blogging now to read "literature." Actually, she does read a lot, just not "literature."

  5. Ok, our mom is a VERY avid reader but has only read "9", yes, you read that right, "9" of those books! She reads horror books all the time. Maybe she should really start thinking about expanding her horizons! We agree with Daisy...Watership Down is an awesome book AND movie!

  6. Our Mom loves to read, but our Grandmother REALLY loves to read. She probably reads a new book every week. She's 85 years old and recently got one of those Kindle electric book reader things because she can make the print bigger so it is easier for her to read.

  7. Well we have read over half but barely at 55. She said some of them she can't remember if she read or only intended to! I think that means more lap time for me!

  12. Mom has read 24...and is way ahead of the 6 predicted by the BBC, so she feels ok. She thinks Harry Potter should count as 7. She adored 100 Years of Solitude...

  13. We din't count...some of da books mom din't read all da way thru because she lost interest! Da way mom reads is she devides three books into 1)bedtime reading (usually light stuff) 2)da one she takes to appointments and on car trips (gotta be intristing or it's easy to get distracted from dem) and da one she really, really wants to finish dat is next to her alla time in da house! Yup, mom reads three books at a time...she's weerd.
