The End of an Era

As someone who grew up with the NASA manned space program as a beacon of innovation, strength, and hope for the future, it is a sad for me, and I’m sure for many others. The last manned Space Shuttle launched from Cape Canaveral on July 8th. I for one am sad to see this end. I still believe to infinity and beyond. May we one day continue our journey into space and travel far and wide through our universe.

  1. Mom had leaky eyes when Atlantis took off. It was sad that there was so much cloud cover since so many people came from far away to see it. Mom got a short video of Atlantis before it went behind the clouds.

  2. It is indeed an historic time, and a shame we are as a nation are exiting the manned spaceflight arena.
