Abby Is Sick

Yesterday morning Abby jumped up out of bed and coughed up what I thought was just a fur ball. When I got up and started doing my normal activities I noticed she wasn't acting right. She did her normal business and then went and laid down. She wouldn't get up for breakfast. THAT is just not her. I went to her with some food and she ate a few bites off of my fingertips. After about 30 minutes all of that came up and she was very queasy and she felt really bad. She would not get up and slept the day away. I had to leave her and when I got back home I gave her the option of more food and water. She did drink, but that too came back up in about 30 minutes. She sat with me like usual last evening and she is very tired. She slept well through the night. I was hoping it was just some 24 hr thing, but this morning although she is brighter, she is nauseous. She did her normal business (for which I am grateful) and she is moving around a bit, although she is not spunky in any way. She acted like she wanted breakfast so I tried to go through our normal breakfast activities and she just couldn't, I could see it just turned her stomach. She did want water, so I let her take some fresh water. I tried to heat up some baby food to see if that would be better and she sniffed at my fingertip and then gagged if you will and all the water she had consumed came up. So I have her scheduled for the Vet. Her eyes are brighter this morning and she does "feel" better but something is really off. And I of course am very worried. Will update later. Please send purrs for my little senior girl.
