In the Arms of an Angel or NOT

Everyone can make up their own minds.
But...
there are questions that need to be answered about the ASPCA.

  1. Yes, that is horrible and someone must answer, even if not in this life.

  2. Can't imagine why the comments were turned off. Here in SoCal. Our experience was the same. We dropped off a mom & her six kittens. Within 24 hours only two kittens were left living. The kill rate here is FOUR out of FIVE. Oh, and the other two? They live with me now, upping my household cat count to six. AND the shelter that took them charged us $200 for the family then charged ME $147.00 PER CAT to free the two they had. Just appalling.

  5. This is so very sad! Our mom stopped donating to ASPCA after a horrific experience with the pet insurance they have their name attached to.

  7. We are afraid to hop ofur and check it out. The comments alone are enuff to skeer Mommy. She has such a tender heart where furbabies are concerned. We thinks when an agency gets too big, the main objective gets lost. Could this have happened here, too? Stacy Hurt's story aggravated the Mommy to pieces!

  8. We're not going to look. Too many "rescuers" are really killers in disguise. We should all start at the root of the problem and neuter/spay AND I think we should ban or at least tax breeders to discourage them from too. Only when pets are rare will they be appreciated.

  9. Judging from the earlier comments, Mommy says she'll have to skip the article. It sounds like it would upset her terribly.

  10. We read the article and it is very sad. We think these big organisations all too often put money first and forget their origins. We are pretty much of the same opinion of the RSPCA. We don't know if they euthanise as quickly as that, but we do know from personal experience that they all too often don't follow up cases of cruelty when intervention is obviously needed. We once supported them but for several years have supported the Cats Protection League instead.
