Waiting and Watching

Just when are you going to get off of that
computer and feed me?

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan." ~Irving Townsend.

  6. Abby - We love that the butterflys are the same color as your lovely green eyes. The quote is so true and it is good to read words that provide us comfort. Now,,if you really want to eat, you need to go over there and stick a claw gently in her cankle - it works like a dream for us.

  11. We know, Abby. Why do they sit at the computer instead of feeding us constantly? And playing with us? And napping with us? Human priorities are a mess.

  22. Poor Abby…you look like you are starving. Sitting and pouting isn't going to get you what you need. Jump right up on that human's computer and demand dinner.
