"We who choose to surround
ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a
fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful
gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only
certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary
plan." ~Irving Townsend.

Mommy says she knows that look all too well! Happy Friday! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding our Mom that she needs to feed us, too. All of us love your quote.
ReplyDeleteSpyro and the gang
We have to wait around here too! Hello handsome Ping!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the little green flutters around you, Abby!
ReplyDeleteSo so so lovely smile.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your Mom didn't make you wait any longer, Abby!
ReplyDeletePS/ Did you feel something tickle your right ear? ;)
Abby - We love that the butterflys are the same color as your lovely green eyes. The quote is so true and it is good to read words that provide us comfort. Now,,if you really want to eat, you need to go over there and stick a claw gently in her cankle - it works like a dream for us.
ReplyDeleteMy human says other humans are sometimes way too temporary too. :-(
ReplyDeleteWaiting for foods is a kitty's full time obsession, Abbadabba!
ReplyDeletecette photo est très belle.
ReplyDeletebisous, bonne fin de semaine.
Laurence
Your needs/demands/wants should always come first, Abby!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all a joyful Easter weekend, whatever and however you celebrate!
We know, Abby. Why do they sit at the computer instead of feeding us constantly? And playing with us? And napping with us? Human priorities are a mess.
ReplyDeleteAwwww beautiful Abby!! We hope you have extra treats for all that waiting! LOL! take care
ReplyDeletex
Lucy is asking me when I am going to get off the computer and play with her...
ReplyDeleteAwwwww, that face is priceless!

ReplyDeleteGreat quote, Abby. And by the way ... we ask our humans the same question.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
It is so sad when the food wagon slows down!
ReplyDeleteAre you drumming your toes?
ReplyDeleteoh, well, I add a very loud and plaintive MEEOOOWWW to that look...works wonders with Mom ...she yells for Dad to come feed me.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you didn't hafta wait long, Abby.
ReplyDeleteLove that Quote and also sure hope that silly Mom fed you really soon. It is so not fun to have to wait for the fuds. Hope all of you have a great week end.
ReplyDeleteso happy to hear that Miss Boo and I share a special day!!! Woooooooo hooooo!!
ReplyDeleteLove, Cody
Purrs to sweet Abby.
ReplyDeletePoor Abby…you look like you are starving. Sitting and pouting isn't going to get you what you need. Jump right up on that human's computer and demand dinner. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteHonestly, what is wrong with our Staffs that they find it acceptable to keep us waiting!!! Tap tap tap..... Sheesh. So laaaaaazy!
ReplyDeletePurrs and love to all of you, especially Tail Boy. XOXOXOX
