Thankful Thursday In The Garden

::::::::::::::Meoooowwwwwww::::::::::::::

Welcome to this week's addition to
Thankful gardening.

Mom and Dad have been hard at work.
I've been given the task of snoopervising.
I'm real good at that.
See my no nonsense face??

Mom didn't get a true "before" they started tearing out the
azalea bushes.
But there were three very mature ones that will be relocated
to another part of the yard this spring.

Mom finally got her camellias bushes planted.
She also has several different types of lavender
and over 20 different amaryllis bulbs planted.
She also added her ever favorite lily of nile too.

This area is a work in progress. It still is needing
some touches.
Mom is still weeding it and will add
some more color and of course some mulch.

See our garden kitty?
There are actually three in here.
One is a stake kitty it's the white one, and she also
has a kitty stepping stone.

Thank you for visiting with us this week.
We enjoyed showing you what Mom has been up to.
She wants to get all of the planting done before it gets too hot.
Enjoy your gardens!

  1. Pawsome garden work Abby! Of course I know you probably had to do most of the design, but Mom was a big help getting it all planted. Lovely!

  5. Oh, so gorgeous!!

I had a lovely yard full of lots of azalea, shrubs, gardenia, orchids, roses... but when I moved to the Swamp I decided that having 2 acres of self-sustaining greenery is quite lovely, too!

Have a lovely day! big hugs xoxo

  6. Wow indeed! We're super-impressed with all the garden efforts, it looks so lovely. We admit to being a tad envious, but then, our human wouldn't be that ambitious, even if we had a 'real' garden and property. LOL.

    Just lovely!

  9. Your Mommy has been working hard in the garden and she did a wonderful job of it too!
Mommy wishes our weather would cool down enough for her to work in our garden without sweating buckets (wishful thinking!)!

Your parents are very handy but their success is mostly due to your snoopervision.

  13. The garden is really looking great. Mom wants to know if those are agapanthas she is seeing? She loves those, but in our zone you have to dig them up every fall and she says that is too much work as she's usually planting 150-200 bulbs then. Enjoy all the upcoming warm days. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  19. This is so so lovely! Thank you so much for sharing.

Also we wanted to thank you for your kind words for Milou. My human is also going to investigate the slippery elm. We just have to be careful because Milou has urinary problems and cannot eat any food. Poor Milou is limited to eating the same kind of food over and over :-(
My human and I thank you furry much for your recommendation though. We're going to try!
