Thankful Thursday IN The Gardens

Welcome to our Thursday Garden!
Ping is going to take you on our weekly tour.

Mom and Dad have been busy.
They have removed all of the shrubs around the yard.
That included the pyracantha.
It was dying.
When they removed it they saw why.
It was sitting in water and it got root rot.
So here is the sorta BEFORE
and AFTER.
(the pyracantha has gone through a lot
of metamorphosis.)

Below is the way the back is shaping up this year.

Mom found this cute kitty glass wind chime.
See the little fishies hanging below it?

Spring is turning into summer here in FL.

Mom's newly planted amaryllis are starting to bloom.

We sure do appreciate you stopping by for a visit.
We hope you are as thankful as we are.
Many blessing our dear friends.

  3. Can I come visit your beautiful garden? It's just gorgeous! Perhaps we can have a garden tea party? Or wine? Here at the Swamp we just have, you know... Swamp. It's pretty and natural and mostly self-sustaining and I love its natural beauty... but no gardens full of color to enjoy.

Of course, it doesn't require a bunch of maintenance either! So it all works out quite nicely!

    Have a lovely day!

  5. Your garden gets the WOW factor. It is gorgeous. he he - I can't show mine off cuz we don't have much and not much is blooming now. We do have a lovely crop of mushrooms growing in the rocks in the front of the house. M & D are not happy about it, but they are kinda cool.
