We have had an outside cat named Ginger living here since 2013.
Well, she has friends now.
One goofy ginger boy Mom calls Buddy.
He is oblivious to everything except food.
He drives Ginger crazy.
She moved from the front of the house to the back enclosure.
Where the catio is.
We all know Ginger and we don't get alarmed by her at all.
But now Buddy has decided to get in on Ginger's good thing.
None of us are too happy with Buddy.
Yesterday I was sitting in Mom's lap asleep on the catio,
and all of a sudden I sprung like a gazelle leaving
gashes on Mom's legs to get to Buddy.
Mom had never seen me jump up on the door
and make like a BIG kitty before.
I usually just watch any stray cat go by
(and there are several others).
I showed Buddy not to get too close to my door!
I may be small,
but I'm mighty!
Thank you Mr Shakespeare!
PS
Both Buddy & Ginger are neutered and Mom has tried for years to get
Ginger to come inside and she won't.
Ginger is tame and comes to Mom.
Buddy is very skiddish.
He does allow Mom to pet him and oh goodness
does he ever want attention.
Also Buddy has a hearing problem.
He can hear just not as well.
Mom has set up a nice bed for them both inside the greenhouse.
But they prefer being outside, even when it's cold.

Hey, everyone needs a Buddy sweet Annabelle. Well, maybe not.
ReplyDeleteAnnabelle, you did a great job on security! We're sorry that Buddy doesn't have a home, though, and quite likely is unneutered. (Ditto for Ginger and all the others!)
ReplyDeleteWell look at you, you brave girl!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great girl!

ReplyDeleteYou may be dainty and small Annabelle, but you have the bravery of a lion.
ReplyDeleteSince both kitties neutered, do you think they were part of a TNR effort or just dumped. Glad you all are there to take care of them. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
