Annabelle's Antics

I am ready to pounce!!!

***
I want to thank all who commented on my
post Sunday. I know it was very lengthy
and for those that read it, I do appreciate it.
I also just wanted to say that I feel immense
gratitude to my Dad (and my living Mom)
for instilling their unconditional support and love.
It is true that there are far too many children
do not have that gift. There are as
many reasons as there are stars for that.
But, I do know how much a gift it is.
I have no regrets like so many who feel grief
over a loss pertaining to unresolved feelings.
I just miss the man who stood so tall in my life.
We lose a big piece of
our history when we lose our parents.
A part of ourselves dies too.
It is the way of life, and I bhave belief in the knowledge
that I will see him again.
But not for a long long time.
Still I know he will be there waiting.
I am grateful in that knowledge.

I miss my dad, too. He's been gone for 14 years, and not a day goes by without me thinking of him.
