This Blog Makes Me Happy
We were given this award by our furfriends Thomas O'Toole, Charlie O'Marley & Lola Fannola.
This first award translates as THIS BLOG MAKES ME HAPPY. According to the rules of this award we have to list 5 things that make us happy and then pass the award on to five fellow bloggers.
Things that makes us happy:
1. Boxes. Any box will do. WE love love love boxes.
2. Sunshine. Lots and lots of warm sunbeams makes us extremely happy.
3. Temptations. Need I say more?
4. Mom's lap, guess what? That is where I am right now. I am at my purriest in Mom's lap.
5. Naps and the more the merrier. I nap 90% of the time.
We would love to share this with any of our furfriends that have not already recieved it.

Uh OH Thursday

Momma has been doin lotsa cleanin lately. We all think this is because of the noo kitchen. So she has been cleanin all those nice windows and guess what? She finally got the window open and couldn't get it to close and then she thought she broke it! (Fankfully Daddy came home and fixed it!) And the cold box in the house broke too, so she was hot and upset. She got the men in the white trucks to come out and fix the cold box after being told that the thing that broke was some big piece of fancy machinery inside the cold box. Then they called her and said that fancy fing was gonna cost $825 green papers. Momma told them that she had an extended warranty and guess what? IT PAID for the entire repair! *wooHoo* Momma wuz doin the happy dance and we're all cool as coocumbers with the cold box werkin again! She's still waitin furr her cookin machine. So her kitchen isn't gonna git through for at least anutter week.

And So It Goes....
From the 1980's to 2009! Erasing nearly 30 years off the walls literally.
Well as my luck would have it, the wall paper glue which was designed especially for vinyl to vinyl adhesion was not working on this wall paper and the installer only had a small amount of "regular" glue, so this is as far as he got today. About an hour into the project he was done for the day. He'll be back at 8AM tomorrow, so I am sure he will get the rest of it up, if he doesn't run out. Then he explained that the border can't go up until the paper is completely set, which means a Monday finish.
Well the other installers also came for the ceiling repair. It's still wet in this picture. But, I am afraid that the entire ceiling may require spraying. *sigh* I HOPE NOT. For what he promised me would not be messy -- WAS! I had popcorn (and I don't like popcorn, but the whole house is done that way, so it would've looked funny to have one room without, so we just opted to stay with it) everywhere. I was so afraid it was going to get all over the wallpaper's installers tools. I did use my own plastic tarp to cover all of his stuff so I think that everything is OK. Slowly but surely it's starting to fall into place. I just hope the kitties stay off of the table the wallpaper installer set up. I can just hear a bing bang boom in the middle of the night coming...
