C.Nov 2011

A few months ago I showed you a game Abby and I used to play with a piece of string attached to a door knob. I don't recall how this particular game came about but I had a little piece of string that came on a package one day, and I suppose I just threw it down on the floor to see what would happen.

The area Abby and I are in is the laundry room, which Abby would always follow me into each morning as I cleaned out the litter boxes.
So I dropped the string on the floor and I do recall she grabbed it and her feet could not gain traction on the linoleum. So imagine if you well flying cat feet!

And so it would end, as quickly as it began she would stop. She was never interested in eating it just in it moving around on the floor. She just wanted it to scoot along the floor so she could chase it. It was so cute to watch because I think I've mentioned she wasn't a cat who liked toys. So finding this was a special joy. I saved the string and every time I go get the mail or clean the litter boxes, I would drop it down on the floor for her to play with and she would go at it for a minute or so. I could dangle it and she would nab it out of my hand too.

I miss playing with you Abby.
I miss everything about you.
I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories we had.
Very grateful.
I am thankful you were with me for the time we had together.
And I always will be.
I am sad,but I am healing.
But, there will never be a day I do not miss you little one.

I love you to the Moon and back
again and again and again.
Forever Abby.
