Thankful Thursday In The Garden

The purple Calla lilies look exactly the same this year.

Mom photographs this tree year after year.

It tells the story of the seasons.

We wonder how many more we have here?

The amaryllis are strongly in bloom this season

Wistfully we wonder will we see them 

next year?

Me I don't care about flowers.

I love to play play play!

I think I wore this toy out a long time ago.

But we are still thankful.

Thankful for things seen

and unseen.

So I think of her every time I see it.

 Beauty

 Annabelle is seeing a special mobile we added several months ago to the Garden.

This mobile is to remind us of Abby and the Moon and the stars.

 I know these photos are several months old, 

but on the one year anniversary 

at 9:55 pm I went outside

 and I lit them for Abby.

9:55pm was when she flew over the Rainbow.

I find comfort that these twinkling lights turn the color of the Rainbow.

Thankful Thursady In the Garden : The BumbleBee Edition

The bumbles are bumbling all over the garden.

 Unless you biggify this you may have a hard time seeing the bumblebee in midflight going straight for one of the agapanthus flower globes.

 Perfect landing.

 Going deep for that gooey golden goodness!

 Sorry it's a bit blurry. I got startled and I am hand holding the camera and he was quick!

Going in for another landing! You can see the golden pollen on his back legs.

Annabelle is sitting right above the action. The agapanthus are right below this window frame.
