He had been very ill with CRF and had recently been put on epogen to help stabilize his condition and it was doing a very good job of helping him.
This morning my friend found him paralyzed.
They could only rush him to the Vet.
But his Mom's heart broke to have to say farewell for now.

Nancy your boy is now sparkling and twinkling amongst the stars. When you look up every night in the evening sky the brightest star you see will be Winchester winking back at you. Just remember he is with Sharky and they are waiting and watching over you. Your boy is now free of pain and needles and he is young happy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge, until your eventual reunion. You did everything you could and more. Give your heart peace knowing that. Love you.

eyes and silken well groomed fur.
