Truly our Thankful Thursday posting:
A few short weeks ago on Facebook it came to the attention of Dorian Wagner that there was a woman named Joan who is terminally ill living in Hospice looking to make sure her cat was taken care of after her death. Dorian of the Cute Transport Network who is in Florida jumped into action. She did take the cat named Isis in and almost immediately found her a new forever home in Chicago. But she did more. Dorian asked her FB friends if they would like to send Christmas cards to Joan, she made arrangements to bring Isis to see Joan (more than once), she sent Joan some flowers and some personal items all of which was donated by those who helped Dorian in her Cute Transport and Santa Paws donations. It's just a feel good moment straight out of "It's A Wonderful Life". To be able to help someone who truly needs is a beautiful blessing. Isis will soon be making her plane ride to Chicago and Joan is very happy that Isis is going to great home, and all of us understand what that peace of mind must be like for Joan. God speed Joan, God speed Isis.

We're joining PepiSmartDog for this week's blog hop for Thankful Thursday. We hope you will too!

We also want to share our heartfelt sorrow our the loss of one of the long time bloggers who doesn't blog much now.
Beau Beau and Angie have blogged for nearly as long as Abby.
Beau Beau was always such a sweet darling boy with the most adorable face and eyes and personality.
Just last week, he began having some difficulties breathing. He was rushed to the Vet and fluid was taken from his lungs. He had a difficult weekend and yesterday he had a Vet visit with a cardiologist to do an echocardiogram. They found two inoperable tumors and made the decision to let Beau Beau become an Angel. Any loss of the heart is painful, but when it comes so suddenly and seemingly expectantly, it feels doubly hard. There is never a "good" time for this to happen, but for it to be at this time of the year with all the festivities I know how much more difficult and sad it will be. Thinking of Beau Beau and his sister Angie and their Mom and Dad who loved him so deeply. We all did. Now Beau Beau you can visit all of your Angel friends and I know you'll be free and happy and healthy. We'll all miss you for now.
Please stop by and give them your deepest purrs and prayers.
Beau Beau.
