Ping
Today is Ping's birthday.
We always celebrated the two brothers
on the same day.
So long ago with so little true
background, the vet could
only suggest their approximate age.
So, January it was and the 1st seemed
to be as good of a day as any,
henceforth they celebrated
the first day of the year as their
"birth" day!
Now there is only one to carry on,
and for how long I don't know.
At least 18 years he carries...
that I know of, it could be more
and although Ping is now a shop cat
he is still roaming his kingdom
like the regal ginger he is!
Happy birthday to Ping,
and happy birthday to my Jinxie boy.
I hope he getting a good meal
and a fine nap, those were his necessary
requirements.
