We are so thankful that you stopped by to visit
with us on our weekly trip into the Garden.
This week Boo is going to show you how the
Japanese Maple is coming back in full bloom.

Mom you blew it.
That isn't the Japanese Maple
I can tell.
It's your rose bushes!
You cannot fool a wisen Garden kitty like me!

Now that is the Japanese Maple!

The leaves so delicate and lovely.
Let me try one to eat Mom.
What?
You won't.

Well I guess that ends this weeks tour my friends.

Thankful Thursday In The Garden

Here's Miss Boo welcoming you to our garden this week.
She is carefully watching all of the activity.

This week we wish to share with you the beginning blooms
of our amaryllis.
Below is Mom's bed full of amaryllis.
Each spring this explodes with color.
It serves to remind her of her Great Uncle.
He took 4 bulbs out of his flower bed and shared them with her.
This is what has resulted.
So each spring she thinks of him.

Here are a few of her other amaryllis
that are blooming right now.

 

Since Mom planted a whole new crop
of amaryllis this year we should have
lots of pretty flowers to show you all spring.
