My Not So Good Week

Oh goodness what a week I had

last week.

Mom got spooked over a flaky itchy

sore on my back.

A cat friend shared a photo of her cat

with ring worm and Mom was like

OH NO what if Annabelle has

ring worm?

Now in all the years she has had cats

never had that problem, but there is always

a first.

So she picked up the phone and called the

ebil Vet.

She got an appointment for that afternoon

and scooped me up and took me!

They allowed her to stay with me.

It turns out it was itchy cause it was a flea bite.

I am on flea medication but still

that's all it was.

BUT, they decided to clean my ears real

REAL REALLY good.

I've been shaking my  head,

and acting a bit off.

Mom also reapplied my flea treatment,

and I hit the roof. I HATE that stuff.

So, I'm trying to get back to normal.

She better leave me alone!

Oh my...of all the indignities...the other day Momma saw me running around and rubbing my bottom on the floor and she saw I had ::::GASP::: a tapeworm! Momma hates to medicate us (she even hates to medicate herself -- will hardly even touch aspirin!) so she has not used Advantage on us for several years and we've had no fleas. But, she kinda thought we were gonna have a problem because Momma had flea bites, so she thinks she got fleas and brought them to us. So she put the Advantage on us, but it was too late cuz I apparently ate one.
I have only been to the Vet one time. Yep only once. I have been such a healthy girl, Momma doesn't want to take us in unless we need to go. Well she felt I needed to go and I was scairt kittes.

I wuz shakin.

But, the Vet purrson wuz nice to me, even though she stuck me twice, but I am rid of those terrible worms now and I also got my raybees and Momma said it wuz gud for 3 years. 3 years is way over a squillion, rite?
I won't have to go back to the Vet for another squillion years...I hope.
