Miss Gracie says:
On Thursday April 28th Daddy got a call from the place he used to work. There was a tuxedo girl kitty who had been dumped at the store and they knew Daddy worked in Cat Rescue, could he help? So Daddy made some calls. He went and picked up the kitty and took it to First Coast No More Homeless Pets and they did the spay on her and made sure that she was healthy. Two days later on Saturday the kitty now named Kingsley (because that was the street she was found on) was up for adoption at PetSmart. Everyone said that Kingsley was a super kitty. Well Kingsley wasn't adopted on Saturday, so Kingsley then went to the Pet Supermarket to see if she could be adopted through the week. Guess what? One of the managers from the store Kingsley was rescued from adopted her! From being "dumped" and homeless to finding a forever home within a week, that's a pretty good happily ever after! So we hope that this is just the start a good adoption weekend for Lucky Cat Adoptions! Like Brian says, adopt cats, they deserve it!

ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous story, a happy ending...or beginning if you prefer, for Kingsley. She was very lucky to be adopted so quickly!
ReplyDeletePlease cross your paws for the stray kitty the mom took to the vet yesterday, that he makes it through the anesthetic today! The mom didn't sleep much last night, hoping he'd be okay, that she didn't make the wrong decision. We're sure he must be terrified!
