World Cat Day 2009

Let us all celebrate ~ World Cat Day.

We have a story to tell...
It's sort of sad
at first,
but bear with us,
it has a happy ending.

In our area we have a large river, it's called the
St.Johns River.
We have LOTS of bridges. This one particular bridge (the Buckman) is 3.1 miles long.
One day recently, at the top of the span some monster
threw a kitten off of the top into the river.
Somehow this kitty had a special guardian angel looking over it's paw.
Because you see the kitten was able to swim to one of the pilings
underneath the bridge and hang on until
a two fisherman saw this kitten crying out.
They rescued the baby kitty.
They say that kitty is a total purr machine
and they have given this special kitty it's
new forever home.

So I can't think of a better way in celebrating
WORLD CAT DAY
without thinking of T.K.
and her miracle rescue.
