Today I went on a visit to St Augustine FL,which is only about an hour from home.
I wanted to know how Earl was affecting the Beaches of the area.
THIS is very atypical of the Atlantic.
We basically do not get waves. Not like what you are seeing here.
The ocean is angry, and Earl is 650 miles away.
If possible I may go and visit the Beaches again tomorrow because that is when Earl will be at it's closest to us.
We kitties will be watching and purring that all will be well.

EARL back off man! We LOVE your photos! mom is totally jealous right now!
ReplyDeleteWe hope that nasty Earl leaves all of our costal critters and families alone!
ReplyDeleteReally fabulous shots, but do be careful. I'm worried because Earl is on track for Nova Scotia and Mom will be in the house by herself.
ReplyDeletewe is purrring for you all and I am coming down to be wif you my darling Abby.
ReplyDeletepurrsss n nosekissies - your adoring and werried floofy cocoapuff meezerman Sammy
We are purring that all our friends stay safe.We live close to the Atlantic coast and big waves are normal here as the swell builds as it comes across the Ocean. A lot of surfing is done in this area. When it is stormy the waves beat against the sea walls with spray going 50-60 feet in the air. It is beautiful to watch, but dangerous to get too close. We are very glad we don't get hurricanes here.
ReplyDeleteThat water looks angry!!!!! We would love to see Earl fizzle as the Weather Office is telling us it will be a Cat.1 when it hits Nova Scotia!!
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting him on Saturday.
Oh, my gosh!! These pictures are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us. Hope you don't get weather too bad at your place.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, although we hope Earl dies out and doesn't cause problems...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful view photos~!!!
ReplyDeleteI purr and purr everything going well.
We are keeping an eye on Earl and our friends on the East Coast.
ReplyDeleteThese are really great photos - but please be careful tomorrow if it's windy there (not sure what the forecast is.)
ReplyDeleteWe don't live on the coast but we are a bit worried about the Creek Cats and some of our other friends in eastern NC and VA because Earl has strengthened and is heading right for them. Hoping he veers off to the east a little!
