Thoughtful Thursday
We haven't seen Mr Kitty in over 3 weeks. The day the bad storms blew into our area back in December, he disappeared off into the wooded area adjacent to our property. I hope that someone else is taking care of this sweet baby. I miss seeing him every day -- my heart simply aches for all feral kitties out there -- in the cold elements, without a true home to call their own. We wanted to give Mr Kitty a home, but he would not let us. We built him a house, we opened up the garage ... but he would not go in to either for shelter. He chose to live life as he only knew how and how we don't understand. We miss you Mr Kitty, we worry, we pray, we hope.

Mom says she has been wondering and hoping about Mr Kitty too. How feral kitties make it through the winter in cold places is hard to believe, but hopefully Mr Kitty has been ok. Purrs for you and him.
ReplyDeleteWe think Mr Kitty is probably okay. He may have even found an indoor home somewhere.
ReplyDeleteWe hope that Mr. Kitty is okay too. He could have wandered farther into the wooded area and found some other lovely family. We will purr for that.

I hope Mr. Kitty is okay! That is the problem with ferals, they don't use email or Twitter, so they can't let us know what is going on...
ReplyDeleteAwww!! Me and Charlie are purring and sending tons of hugs to Mr Kitty in the hope that he is somewhere safe and warm!! We hope he also knows that he has a home with you if ever he needs one!! We are so glad he has you to look out for him!! Take care

I remember Mr. Kitty and I know how hard you tried. He was living, as you said, the only way he knew.
ReplyDeleteI ache for the feral kitties too., It hurts me to see them and not be able to save them all.
Poor Mr. Kitty. You have done all you can for him....We hope he's okay, too, being taken care of by others.
ReplyDeleteoh this made me sad. Please do not feel bad! You did everything you could to offer Mr.Kitty a home and you built shelter for him.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he found a new haunt or maybe as you said somebody else took him in.
(((((hugs))))
All you can do is hope and purr...and we'll continue to purr for him too. All you can do is your best with a feral who will make up their own minds about what they want to do. We hope he's ok and eating somewhere else for awhile and will show up again.
ReplyDeleteWe purray Mr Kitty has found shelter and food too.
ReplyDeleteWe hope that he is ok too. It's hard to see them out there, you want to help but we can only do so much. It's truly heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteWe have been purraying for Mr. Kitty also. Bless you for all you did for him, and we are purring that he will soon show up again.

Poor Mr Kitty, it's such a harsh life for some...I wish every cat had a warm home. You tried everything that you could! We are praying that he has found shelter somewhere or that another kindhearted person like yourself is helping him!

ReplyDeleteOh poor Mr. Kitty! I hope he's ok!
ReplyDeleteMom use to feed all the feral kitties at her work and was amazed at how attached she got to them. When one would disappear, she would worry herself sick. We are hopeful Mr. Kitty will return or has gone on a little vacation.
ReplyDeleteOh Mr Kitty we hope you are safe and sound, using your outdoor skills to make it through.
