Just wanted to let everyone know why we have gone MIA.
The Dad was recently admitted to the ER due to a bad drug interaction. He had just been put on two different medications and they did not agree with him. He is doing much better! He is also doing well with his rehab for his rotator cuff surgery.

Some of you probably know that there is a new storm named (TS) Irene in the Atlantic. It is near Puerto Rico right now, and a lot could change but THC (Hurricane Center) has it on a projected path for the SE coast of FL. There are quite a few cat bloggers who could be affected. But anyone who lives along the SE coast of the US has to be on alert and that includes a great many cat bloggers. We live in Northern Florida near the coast, so anxiety is high. THC is projecting that tomorrow Irene will be a CAT1. It has been since 2008 that a hurricane has hit the US coast line. The heart of hurricane season has only begun, the next two months will be active from all accounts.

So depending on what happens we may not be able to comment much, but we have set up a few posts to automatically run. Please keep those who will affected by this storm in your purrs. We wish Irene would just run away, but sadly we know, that isn't going to happen this time.
Your fambly has a lot going on to create anxiety. Purring for the Dad to have no further problems from his surgery and his medicines. Thank you for alerting us to the hurricane because we like to try to follow them, even if they are not likely to come to our home. We still want to be thinking about the people who will be affected, wherever they are. We hope it will be a weaker storm when it passes over Florida, but that is still likely to bring you wind and rain. Purrin', Simba and Audrey
