Kipper

by jenna.riedi • Posted in: Donations, Fundraising
Kipper is a survivor of the Bastrop fires and has been reunited with his family. However, Kipper was severely injured, with all four paws badly burnt as well as suffering burns to his face. “He is quite the trooper for surviving 11 days out there, waiting on our property for us” says his mom, Janet, “He was so weak, when he heard my voice all he could do was a quite, raspy meow and he couldn’t even get up.”
His family took him to the vet, who have cared for Kipper and helped him heal and while there is not a release date yet, Kipper is doing much better. Kipper’s family completely lost their house in the fires and one of their four pets as well. As you can imagine, the cost of this veterinary care for Kipper is more than the family can afford due to their terrible loss. They reached out to Austin Pets Alive for help with the vet bill and we could not say no. Will you help us pay Kipper’s bill so the family does not have to worry anymore?
Thank you!

  2. I'll a search for Austin Alive and Kipper on Google. Just FYI, the link you provided doesn't work for Austin Alive but maybe it's a problem with my Internet browser.

By the way, I just read over at Twinkletoes your story, Abby, and it broke my heart. I'm so glad you are with your mom and your family.

  12. A sad story but hopefully a happy ending! The link is still not working, in Firefox or Safari, gives a weird URL. But the copy and paste method does work. I think the link would be easier to find if it was a different color or underlined. It's pretty inconspicuous right now.

  17. I tried to send my Human to make a donation to Kipper. She can get to the main site, & even to sponsor a pet & she sees Kipper, but she just can't figure out how to donate to Kipper specifically. Also, when she pressed the donate now button, there was a big red slash and an "X" over the https which freaked her out a little about putting in cc info!

We will try again tomorrow cause we want to help this kitty!

Maybe someone can put info in the comments i=to help her out?
