BIG Adoptathon
Beginning this morning and going through this weekend Daddy is showing his condos at the big Adoptathon going on in downtown Jacksonville at the Fairgrounds. He said that they've had over 200 adoptions today alone. The goal is for 800. We think that they just may make it. Here is the video that was on the local news show this morning.

OMC, that is so wonderful. It's sad that there are that many babies who need homes, but how beautiful that this event is happening. We are purring and praying that every single one has a happily ever after of their very own.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great event that is. That seems like a large amount of adoptable babies, but then I forget that it's a big city too compared to our smaller sized city. I hope all the anipals found good homes.

ReplyDeleteThe event sounds awesome but what is with that idiot news item with ALL dogs and one one-second shot of a kitten? That hissed me off. We cats always seem to get gypped in the media, even though we have taken over YouTube.
