Read the daily musings of our beloved Angel Abby who passed over to the Rainbow Bridge August 12,, 2013. Our sister Gracie recently passed OTRB 2/11/14. Join our two Tabby Brothers, Ping and Jinx, and their Tuxedo sister Boo along the journey as they all adapt to new life with Manx Calico Annabelle who joined our family December 2013.
Wonderful capture, and of course ditto the other comments.
Since the time I was a very young child, one of my favourite things to see has been light streaming through green leaves. For me, it's a holy thing, a spiritual experience. Probably partly why I do so poorly here in this climate in winter (no leaves on the trees and little light).
And I remember many years ago, reading some article on the properties of light, nothing complicated, just the obvious that light needs something to be reflected off of, to be seen.
But that hit me on a spiritual level--Light, spiritual Light, the Light of God, whatever you want to call it, can't be seen without something to reflect off of. (You know, in thinking about the reason for any of us to be here, to exist at all.)
That was me, a teenager thinking about these things. LOL. Not quite "normal," whatever that is. :-)
That dragonfly is so incredibly beautiful. Mom says that they fly by so quickly that she's never got a really good close-up look at one. Thanks for sharing. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
