Take my hand
And lead me to salvation
Take my love
For love is everlasting
And remember
The truth that once was spoken
To love another
Is to see the face of God.
And lead me to salvation
Take my love
For love is everlasting
And remember
The truth that once was spoken
To love another
Is to see the face of God.
indeed, It's good to love.

Good poem! :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've thought about this. I don't know that it's so much that you "leave" one to love another. I think it's more like, each love has it's own little part of your heart, of your love. And, they keep it always, as you love them always. But, new pieces are given to new souls you meet to love.
ReplyDelete:-) Hope that makes sense!
Hugs to everyone...with love!
I have lived nearly 60 years. I have divorced a man I still loved after 27 years together (and still to this day love him). I consider mysekf reasonably imtelligent. I have yet to figure out how to unlove anyone. Love is the only thing that can be divided while not dimish. xoxo

Oh I like these comments. Love the part about love can be divided and still not diminish. That is perfect.
