film was developed from.
I understand it's making a comeback.

    I remember those old fashion negatives only too well. I have piles of them that I am afraid to throw away until I have finally organized my old pictures ... that said, I am grateful for digital photography because I could never afford developing so much film :) This is a great piece of art work ...
