A beautiful song for anyone who is experiencing a loss this year,
or one that continues to touch your heart.
From Mark Schultz's Facebook page:
* I visited his Facebook page and this is what he says about the song:
"This is a special song for me and my family. I wrote it with my wife after her dad passed away 3 years ago. It was our first Christmas without him, and Kate was decorating for the holidays. She came into the garage holding a box of ornaments and had tears streaming down her face. She said to me, "It's just a different kind of Christmas this year."
At some point in our life we will all lose someone that is close to us, and that first Christmas without them is a tough one to get through. I hope this song will bring comfort to those who are mourning the loss of someone this season. Please share it with someone who might need to hear it this year."

Into evry living creatures life, comes a Time Of Change. It is not wanted, but it is the rule of the world. The Tiger loses Mate, The Lioness a Cub, The Elephant a Matriarch.
ReplyDeleteThere is the Wheel Of Life, it slowly turns around, the elders pass before us, our turn will come around.
But the gift of life is that we all have our time on the wheel to do with as we will. Some spend it wastefully, some rise to great heights, most of us just get by doing the best we can for family, friends and community.
I lost a Sister and Mother in 2010, and my Dad in 2013. It was hard to have all that happen so quickly. But you go on through the tears remembering the good times.
My Peace find you...
Yes, those precious memories are there, forever to be cherished.

ReplyDeleteA very melancholy song-everyone in the woman's family has died on one holiday or another. Perhaps that's one reason she is so lackadaisical about celebrating them.
