Jinx had a birthday this month.
We just arbitrarily picked a day but it could
be any day or maybe we'll just celebrate the month.
Happy Birthday Month Mr Jinx!
He's feeling his age, we have him at 18 but it
could be older as he came to me fully grown.
It was only a guessimate at the time.
But he still puttering along.
I understand how aging affects us all.
He just wishes his pesky little sister wouldn't
chase him around and paw at him.
She actually tries to tackle him!
He's not so much into playing these days.
Give him food and a nap and he's happy.

Of our 6 meezers over the years, only the first lived to that age...or maybe he was 19...he too came to us as an adult.

ReplyDeleteI’m sorry I missed Mr Jinx’s birthday entry. Happy birthday, Mr Jinx. I can relate to having an elderly cat like you in the household. My Josie will turn seventeen this year, and she is milking it for all it’s worth: nothing but old-person noises coming from her. She spends most of her day, and night, sleeping in her heated cat-bed, but still likes to look out the window and, and to play now and then. I figure cats like you deserve some peace and quiet, Mr Jinx, though it may be a while before Annabelle understands this.
