Well Mom went and did it.
She ordered new windows.
So maybe I'll be able to see out better!
Ha!
She said our windows are over 40 years old
and not very efficient. Whatever that means.
Anyway with things the way they are it will
be months before we have lots of
noise and inconvenience.

Can you believe half of 2021 is over?
Happy June days to you and yours!!
ReplyDeleteMy human swears that some of the window in our house are nearly 100 years old! (The house was built in 1928.) But they are too picturesque for her to want to replace them.
ReplyDeleteHappy June 1st! I hope you don't have to wait too long for your new windows.
ReplyDeleteHappy June, Annabelle!
ReplyDeleteWe imagine it cost a huge amount for the windows, but in the end it will be worth both the cost and the fuss, it will make a big difference!
No, we can't believe the year is half over; it will be 2022 before we know it. :-/
Gee Annabelle. While new windows will be good, I bet the noist and strange people will be a bit scary.

It was noisy but we like them ours were about 30 years old.

ReplyDeleteWell, those new windows will be great once they are installed. Sorry it's hurricane season again. We hope they stay clear of you this year.
ReplyDeleteWe got new windwows where needed when we moved in and they are well worth it. Purrs
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annabelle, for the latest news. Good luck with the new windows and may the second half of the year be full of happiness for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteNew windows! Yes, that will mean noise and annoyance for you, Annabelle. Make sure you are safe somewhere when it all happens.
