August 15, 2005 began a Journey, it was really Abby's Journey.
I simply wanted to keep a journal of her life.
It really was all about Abby.
I know that may sound a bit like nepotism.
But, the bond I had right from the start with Abby was special
This was her story.
And so it was.
Her story.
The day I started I never envisioned an ending.
Call me naive because I was.
When I adopted her she was an older cat but I never
considered losing her.
But I did that too in 2013.
This is still about her and our connection
which nothing can ever change, but it's more now.
Now it's Annabelle's story.
And Boo, Jinx and Ping.
It's funny how things change and how different
personalities emerge.
All the cats were under the firm paw of Abby.
She ran the show.
She ran the show.
A true alpha she was.
Everyone, including Gracie was mild mannered.
Annabelle is very mild mannered,
so now the house is not dominated by a very
strong personality.
For them, that's a good thing.
Because they all get along with one another with ease.
As I embark on the start of my 12th year of blogging
I don't know where I'm headed.
But I'm certainly on my way on our continued Journey.
