Bob
Today we found out that a very dear kitty went to the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday September 3rd. Bob of Covered In Cat Hair passed after a long fight with cancer. Bob became Robin's cat about 5 years ago when her Mother passed away. Bob was not well when Robin took him as he was diagnosed as being FIV+ and diabetic along with some bad dental disease. But Bob was Bob and if you followed his story you know he was one of the sweetest orange tabby boys around. We know that a part of Robin's heart is filled with a gigantic sized whole named Bob as he became her heart kitty over the 5 years that he graced her life. Please keep her and her husband in your purrs, as for Bob, well we believe he is free of all his worldly struggles and he has earned his angel's wings. We'll miss you greatly Bob as we were pulling for you, but we know we'll see you again. Robin has closed her blog until tomorrow to heal over losing Bob. But, I know she would greatly appreciate any kind purrs when she opens it back up tomorrow.

The Petties
For your consideration:
There are some fabulous blogs on animal rescue, but COVERED IN CAT HAIR is an exceptionally well written, well done blog on a one woman (with a lot of volunteer help) rescue operation named Kitten Associates. What Robin has done is absolutely amazing. If you have never visited her blog I highly recommend it. Sometimes I must tell you it is not for the faint of heart. In fact it can be down right heart breaking, but Robin somehow manages to save cats and she is a "not on my watch" kind of lady. She is nominated for not one, but two Petties and if she were to win the BEST in either category it would mean $1000 going into Kitten Associates. That money could do so much and if you read about Cara you will truly want her to win both categories (which would mean $2000)
As another personal aside both Sparkle the Cat (gorgeous Sparkle) is up for BEST BLOG POST!
AND.....our own Mr Puddy is up for FUNNIEST BLOG.
If you are voting I can't recommend both of these wonderful witty informative blogs for your consideration.
The Petties.
