HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Annabelle!
Today to the best of my ability to determine is Annabelle's 2nd birthday.
It's her first that we'll all celebrate together.
Since it's Black and White Sunday. I turned most of her photos into B/W images.
Some of these are from the the first month she arrived. If you look close you can see her reticence.
But then you see her just one month later (above) completely relaxed.
She still has the doe-eyed look of fear with anyone but me.
But, I think she has happily accepted her new surroundings.
She is a joyful cat.
I am so happy too.
Happy she is here.

She's not trusting me here, and she still gets that way sometimes.
She has a real love of the outdoor porch.
She has found her spot on the cat tree.
I'm so glad that I can replace all of the bad memories of last August
with new happier ones this August.

Last year at this time, we were going through the worst of times. So much has changed in that year.
My only wish is for her to have many many MANY more happy days like today.
So join me in sending happy birthday wishes to my sweet little girl today.
