Oh my gosh I get to do ManCat Monday again!
Micki here all rarin' to go!
Zoom zoom zoom
that's me you see streaking all over the place.
After a lot of thinking I do believe the hairless one
is going to let us all stay around here with our Mom, Mina.
I don't quite understand all of this yet.
But, I get a lot of food and she's made a room for us on
the screened in porch during the day.
At night we like to sleep up inside the branches of
the jasmine tree on the pergola.
We're OK so far with doing this.
Well gotta go.
Lots of toys and stuff to play with.
See you around!

The background behind all of this lies quite a few months ago.
All of a sudden this little black kitten showed up.
I'd guess she was between 12-14 weeks old.
She was tiny and skinny.
I did what I've been doing with the 3 adult outdoor (feral)
cats that live nearby. I fed her.
I knew when I did I'd be gaining another 'feral'.
I am sure someone just tossed her out.
So what happens? I try to catch her to get her spayed and
she's not gonna do it. By this time the males from who know
where picked up her scent and she was pregnant.
She had those kittens on May 7th.
One day I saw her move two, so as tiny as she was I thought
she only had two.
She had four.
Finally they all started coming out and I began feeding them
as well.
I was in a pickle as to what to do. After they were 8 weeks old
I had her spayed. I still struggled with what to do. I knew
that these kittens were like millions of others and them
finding a forever home was limited.
Our shelters and rescues are full.
Of course it's kitten season.
So they'll stay. The whole family.
Mina is spayed so she is OK. I have appointments for the kittens
down the road so they'll be taken care of and no more babies.
So that's their story and how things came to be.
