False Alert
If you see a collage of me in your Reader please do not be alarmed.
I am healthy, happy and completely well!

A Wise Cat
A wise cat acquires wisdom through spending long periods motionlessly staring into space considering issues of universal importance - such as, "Where shall I sleep next?". ~ Unknown

Inner Grace
to know peace
is to know God.
within the context of peace
we can know
joy
love
happiness.
in the absence of peace
we own nothing
to find peace
you must open your
heart
to the only thing that matters
the gift of the
present

Fun Friday
After playing with the lizard we are off to vote again....
We hope efurryone won't mind us reminding you about this fabulous cause....only 7 more day left
Please Lend a Paw...
One of the most difficult parts of dying involves saying goodbye to those you love most. Many hospice patients must part with their beloved pets at the time when they need them most because they have no one to help with pet care and expenses. Some pets are left homeless when the patient dies. Our hospice patient/pet support program, Pet Peace of Mind, provides non-profit hospices with resources and funding to help hospice patients care for their pets. Over the past eight months, more than 100 hospices nationwide have contacted us and are interested in starting the program for their patients. To find out more about Pet Peace of Mind, visit www.petpeaceofmind.org
.
Your Vote is Very Important
The program has been selected to compete for a $250,000 grant from Pepsi as part of the Pepsi Refresh Project. Help Hospice Patients Keep Their Pets is our project name within the Pepsi competition. Winners are decided by an online voting process and your vote will help us secure a $250,000 grant. Thousands of hospice patients and pets will benefit from this important program. This grant would provide funding for more than one-third of interested hospices in 2010.
How You Can Help
Vote for this important project every day throughout the month of April. Ask your family (including your relatives and any children over the age of 13) to vote. Ask your friends and business colleagues to vote as well. Use blogs, Facebook and Twitter to spread the word. It only takes three minutes to register. Once registered, you may vote every day. Guilty Pleasures
We have one fast food that makes all of us go kittykrazy and that is when Dad brings home a bucket of grilled KFC chicken. You would not believe that all of us beg for bites and Gracie is the only one who normally begs for anything, but this chicken is so good we ALL beg for it and eat it up as quickly as Momma will shred it for us. So how about you, what is your guilty pleasure?

Hello Ping Style
Ping enjoys having his picture taken. He will stay still while I fiddle with the camera and he will "pose" for me. He is the easiest of our kitties to photograph and he always looks great. He is such a wonderful subject because he expresses himself like a good actor -- or perhaps "ham"! We love our Ping with his big green eyes and long mancat whiskers, he is a real character!

Remembering When

‘Yes, Piglet?’
‘Nothing,’ said Piglet, taking Pooh’s hand. ‘I just wanted to be sure of you.’”
