Window Whiffs
This is Abby's normal posture when standing, which is typically manx. You can tell her front end is much smaller than her hind end which is also typically manx. You can also see her dense double coat which has a spiky look to it. Her coat is very soft and surprisingly she doesn't shed all that much, but please no brushing. She is not fond of furminator, plus it really doesn't get much off of her, which is amazing to me. She also has very powerful thighs and is quite muscular and she will 'hop' when running. But for the moment she is just enjoying a sweet scent on the morning breeze.

Bee-yootiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Whiffin cute girl! Hello handsome Ping!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty girl! She really does have an interesting shape - I didn't realize that Manx cats were built so differently.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet physique! Abby , enjoy your window whiffs!
ReplyDeleteOur first cat (40 years ago!) was an almost Manx with a tail about 2 inches long. Smudge was all white except for a small greyish smudge on his forehead. His build was very similar to Abby's. He would go for walks with Dad without a leash, around the garden apartment complex where we live, keeping up with him with a few whistle cues, and finger snaps. He was our very first "baby".
Look at your fluffy fur having great sunbath~
ReplyDeleteHow cute that she's standing so 'flat footed' in the back! I'm not sure I've ever seen a kitty standing that way for more than a moment. Adorable
ReplyDeleteAbby, you Manx kitties are sure a fascinating bunch!
ReplyDeleteAbby, You look so cute !!!!
ReplyDeleteMy mom swoon here ! Really wanna cuddle from you : )
xoxo
Awwww lovely lovely Abby!! You are perfect and perfectly proportioned in every way! Enjoy your whiffies! Take care

That is pretty interesting about you Abby. We think you are quite a cat. Love hearing all about you. Those whiffs look yummy. Take care.
ReplyDeleteAbby - you are one bootiful girl. Your fur appears to be maybe a little coarser than a Tuxie's. Is that so? It's nice to see a full picture of you. I know you were worried about being in a picture since you have no tail, but you are gorgeous without a tail. Tails aren't all they are "cracked up" to be anyway. They sometimes can get in the way.
ReplyDeleteAbby, my mommy used to have a Manx many years ago. Black like you. Very beautiful and much loved.

Abby, you are such a hottie
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling little figger you have Abby!
ReplyDeleteAbby is the first manx cat I have known. She is lovely! Her coat looks so plush and snuggley :-)
ReplyDeleteWe didn't realise until we saw that picture that Abbey stood differently to us. She has a lovely coat - we wish we were window whiffin' with you Abby but it is cold and wet here!!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Miss Abby! I didn't realize you were a Manx! Those are the coooooolest cats around! We love the pic. You are so very cute.

Loved learning more about beautiful Abby :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Abby's little rounded behind. She reminds me of a little brown bear!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know that about Manx. Carl has a plush spiky coat like that, but he's part Persian. When Abby stands like that she looks like a short eared bunny - so cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy whiffin pretty lady!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your whiffies, Abby! The pictures really give the impression that you have thick furs...and you do!

Abby, we never realized that Manx cats were built like that. And it's interesting that you stand with your black feet flat on the ground.
ReplyDeleteWow, Abby, this silhouette show you in a beautiful light.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't realize that Manx kitties stood flat-footed. That's pretty neat. Of course, Abby's a pretty neat little kitty too. We hope she enjoyed her sun bath.
