::::meow:::
Here is our amaryllis bed this year.
These two pictures are from the current year (above) and previous year (below).
I can see that I had a fuller bed last year, I don't know why.
Perhaps it's because we had a very very
VERY dry winter.
But nevertheless the flowers are starting to bloom.
I took this series right after a wonderful rain.
And of course I could not resist a few close ups because
well that's how I roll.
:::Grin:::
And now the full beauty.
And of course helpful eyes.
Don't forget to swing by and visit Jonesie and check out how his garden is doing! We all hope you enjoyed our newly emerging garden.
It is truly beautiful. So is the snoopervision director.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that Ping is supervising!
ReplyDeletePing I am so glad you are a marvelous gardener. You will have to give me all sorts of pointers. I know I will be the garden cat at our house because I am the one who goes snifin and whiffin when Mama is out in the yard. Now, I just need a garden!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! And of course our mom loves macro floral shots, since that's almost all she ever does. Just not as well as you do. LOL.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Ping!!! You have a feast of festive flowers to look at!! These blooms are so beautiful!! Yay! Take care

Wow, those flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt never occurred to me that amarillis grows naturally somewhere. Isn't that strange? Around here it's only those bulbs you grow in the special pots that come into the stores around the holidays.
ReplyDeletePing! Did you grow that garden all by yourself? Good job, MOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing! {{Sigh}} If only our gardens looked like that!
