:::::meowwwww:::::
A few weeks ago one of the temporary roadside garden spots
was closing for the season and Mom and Dad got these rose bushes for $5.
(They were selling for $20)
She didn't even know what the roses were going to look like.
The only description was "cut roses".
So Mom was delighted to see this pink bicolor beauty.
Mom noticed the light in the garden and just thought it was pretty.
Well that sums up this week in the garden.
Mom keeps going out in the garden and doing stuff every week.
I don't get what she finds so fascinating out there.
But one of us has to keep an eye on her.
This week it was my turn.
~Boo
Oh Boo--you have some very pretty flowers. I love the yellow ones that came up first. Ping, would you take me to smell your Mama's pretty flowers?
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful flowers. Our mom is jealous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Our Mommy loves the coneflowers, too. Happy Thursday, furriends. XOXO
ReplyDeleteYellow and pink roses are jusr wunnerful!
ReplyDeleteDoes your human have any catnip out there for you, Boo? Kitties cannot live on flowers alone! (Well, actually kitties cannot live on flowers, period.)
ReplyDeleteDe toute beauté!
ReplyDeleteBravo

Our garden looks very wet - so much for the no show of Mr Sun again this week!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
All your roses are glorious, just gorgeous. After some rain in early August, things have dried up again, so there's not much left around here that isn't crispy, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous roses and gorgeous picture of you too sweetie.
ReplyDeleteYou all look bery lovely Miss Boo!
ReplyDeleteThe roses are just lovely!!!!
ReplyDeleteMommy says roses are such pretty flowers but they don't thrive in our hot and humid weather. Mommy has been pottering about in our little garden as well under the hot hot sun and now she's sun burnt and nursing a headache. Hah! You won't find us doing silly things like that!
ReplyDeleteFive dollar roses? I would have bought them out! MOL I love roses! In fact we did that one year.. they had a lower grade rose on sale for 3 dollars, no guarntee they'd grow really, we must have bought 25 of them! I think about 20 grew, most are gone now, poo.. I need more roses! MOL
ReplyDeleteLove your garden, and Boo, you're right, someone has to keep an eye on those humans when they're out in their gardens. You never know, they might bring you in a tastey bug or something!
Hi Boo your Mom's an expert gardener...so we think you need to encourage her to keep playing in the dirt.
ReplyDeleteGreat deal on the beautiful new bushes.
hugs madi
your flowers are exquisite! I can smell them in Michigan!
ReplyDeleteStunning pics! Austin loves pink lol xx
ReplyDeleteThe cat pictures are still prettier than the flower and nature ones, but wow, your mom takes gorgeous pictures!
ReplyDeleteoooh roses blooming again. Ours are done for the season. Lovely pics!
ReplyDeleteNothing grows in our garden. Except weeds. Your roses are beautiful. Don't let Jan near them, they'll curl up and die.
ReplyDeleteThe roses are beautiful. Our mum likes the pale peachy coloured one in the bottom right.
ReplyDeleteOh we do the same here. When the pawrents are in the backyard tending to their "garden" we always keep an eye out in case they fall flat on their faces while weeding and cannot get up or something.
ReplyDeleteYour mum has wonderful roses, my mama is jealous.

Roses are our Person's favorite flower and they don't grow very well where we live right now. Those are such pretty roses. We love to see pretty flowers. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous garden.
ReplyDeleteMethinks you like watching mom just a tiny bit (since it means you get to frolic!)
Those are some stunning flowers, Boo!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful although surely not as fascinating as you, Boo.
ReplyDeletePurrs
Will your mom come and photograph our garden? Maybe it will even look half way decent!
ReplyDeleteHiya!
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for the Addictive Blog Award: http://texascatny.wordpress.com/2012/08/31/goodbye-to-furriends-my-nip-vocation-and-awards/

The roses are beautiful, and a steal of a deal too :-)
ReplyDeleteBoo, good job on watching out for the mom! We have a rose garden too but with the drought and the 100+ heat for 2 months...we were lucky just to keep them all alive, much less blooming *sigh*...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics!
