Welcome to our Thankful Thursday!
Annabelle is simply thankful.
And Joyful!
And all about having fun!
Huh? What's that?
Well Annabelle I thought I had found a dead bumblebee on the agapanthus leaf.
But as I focused in on him, he awaken and flew away.
So that is why this is a little blurry. See the pollen on his back leg?
I am not sure which one of us was more alarmed.
Petunias
Can you see the teeny tiny bug on the flower petal?
My glorious Agapanthus. These are such a staple in warmer climates. They just handle hot and cold so well. Last year I replanted several flower beds with them. When we lost the Pyracantha last year to root rot I had to replace the entire bed which spanned about 30 feet. That was a lot of digging and replanting. But this year the Agapanthus have grown and are blooming their literal heads off. Those flower globes are so beautiful.

So here's hoping you have a beautiful Thankful too!

ReplyDeleteThe flowers look lovely. Mum has told me to watch where I walk in the garden because it is choc a bloc with bees. We don't know where they have all come from this year and they are different to the usual ones, smaller and blacker.
Cody killed a small bee the other day and thankfully it didn't sting him. Annabelle, watch out for those bees! Your flowers are gorgeous as always!
ReplyDeleteThat is a little tiny bug! We love the napping bee :-) See, everyone feels safe and comfy in your garden! We love these trips and tours through your garden. We got sticks and some catnip in our flower pots on the patio. Miss Annabelle, you are good at getting those nip nanners.
