I purchased this little cat bed thinking that all the cats would enjoy it.
To this day the only one who has ever shown any interested
was Gracie.
This was taken of Gracie on Oct 23,2013 around 7pm.
This is our first Christmas season since 2005 without Gracie.
Our second without Abby.
Much comes and goes, ebbs and flows.
The holidays have high points and low ones.
Always remember those who are no longer here in their
physical forms.
Hold tight to the ones who are.
Miss you dearest Gracie Grace.
10 months today.
I am the only cat who loves the cat beds around here. Sometimes Ichiro uses one of them but Gemini never. That is a very sweet picture of sweet little Gracie in her bed.
ReplyDeletePurrs to you. My human kind of feels bad that the moment Sparkle was gone, Boodie took over her bed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo to help bring back special memories. I have one cat bad that I can't get rid of, even though the next generation of cats doesn't use it. It was my Felix's favorite bed and holds too many memories for me to give away.
ReplyDeleteHow peaceful she looks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing her with us today.
She looked so sweet sleeping there. Purrs to you.
ReplyDeleteSweet Gracie! Sending purrs xox
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo. We have a plug-in heated cat bed that no one has used but Talia, but it's still here, hoping someone will eventually curl up in its warmth again one day. Sending you lots of purrs.
ReplyDeleteSending love and soft purrs your way
ReplyDeleteWHAT A SNUG LITTLE BED TUCKED AWAY IN A PEACEFUL CORNER...GRACIE SURELY KNEW THE BEST SPOTS TO NAP WHILE KEEPING AN EYE ON THINGS.
ReplyDeleteHUGS MADI YOUR BFFF AND MOM
That little bed looks as though it was made just right for Gracie - we're purring for you today.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Someone may yet use it. My foster-cat, Bear-Bear, loved his round bed. It was his. When he died, the other cats didn't use it. Then, they started. Now, three of them use it. I like to think they are continuing the BB's tradition. Yours may yet use Gracie's bed.
ReplyDeleteHugs and purrs as you remember fond memories of your Gracie girl.
ReplyDeleteOh.....it is so very hard to go through the holidays without your beloved companions. I never knew that it could hurt this much. I am so very sorry that you are having to go through this pain as well. Please know that I am here if you want or need a friend to talk to.
