April 2013

Just a random photo of Abby from April
of her last year with me.

I always do this when looking back now.
Thinking how only she had two more months
of what I thought was good health.
How little I knew that her heart
was a literal ticking time bomb.

Grief is change.
It changes our lives, our routines, & our plans
right along with it.
Grief changes us.
Change is hard under the best of circumstances,
but the change we don't ask for
can be intolerable.
The change,too much change
(complicated change)
that happening all at once.

  1. Sudden changes are allus hard. No one likes them. But they happen. Our purrs...

  2. It is so hard when we loose our babies.

  3. She didn't want you to know. Hugs.

  6. I have found myself doing the very same thing with Angle Madi's pictures that I took late last August and early September.
Little did I know her days were numbered.

  9. Just the other day I was looking at a picture of Truffles from 3 months before I lost her, so happy and healthy. Life can be so cruel.

  10. I still have a heard time looking at pictures of Wally. The pain is still great.

  11. That's why I could never stand knowing the future...
