Just looking at this I notice that the only two

things still in the house are the two tables

by each window on the side of the front doors.

My little round furry baby is gone too.

But she loved sitting in the morning sun

as it came through the windows.

It's a sweet memory to hold onto.

When so much else seems to fade away.

It was almost over.

medical interventions.

But, I didn't know Abby.

Somehow I was going to 

save you.

I moved mountains and 

it ended in an avalanche.

Only dust left.

I know you understood,

I know you did.

I had to try as hard as I could.

But you taught me great lessons.

And I promise I won't ever

repeat the mistakes I made with you.

Even if it was out of love

and the hard painful truths

that sometimes there are no miracles.

Match 2013

Abby was in the office sitting on top of 

the printer.

It's odd.

I just rearranged everything within the 

office this week. Some things had been 

as they were when my husband was alive,

and living here.

So it was long past time for a change.

I really would like to remove the old

"cardboard" type material desk and put 

something more my style in. But I would

have to demolish the desk to do it, to move it.

One day I may take a sledgehammer to it.

But right now it's ok.

When I saw this picture it just brought back

memories.
