It's a strange thing to look at a photo
and think that the day you took it
all was OK with the world.
Until the moment it wasn't OK anymore.
How little I knew how much my
world was about to change.

some of the greatest blessings
come at the greatest of cost.
I think that is one reason we take the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThere is always one last picture of every Being, cat, dog, tree, etc. You always want those, but pictures don't appear by magic, so you have to take them.
And you never know when the last one may be. There is of course always a "last one", but you never know when it will be.
So click, click, click...
Precious memories.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet pic.
ReplyDeletePurrs to you. <3
ReplyDeleteYes, we never know when that last photo will be. Eric's last photo was soon after we had come back from a short walk. We had thought he was improving.
ReplyDeleteAll photos are precious though.
It's good to have the photos and the memories though.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo I took of my Parker, I knew I wouldn't be able to take many more. He died that night. But I am glad I took all the pictures I did of him, and all my other beasts. Abby can see you remembering her.
ReplyDeletePriceless memories.

Exactly why every moment needs to be cherished, even when they seem so insignificant.
