I've started a bad trend.
After all these years I began giving out a smidgen
of milk to the kitties.
They LOVE it.
They beg for it.
Especially Miss Boo.
So, I give them a taste now about once a week.
But that doesn't stop the begging.
My human only drinks non-dairy milk, so I've never had the pleasure of tasting it. Oddly, she DOES have whipping cream on occasions... sometimes she will whip some (sans sugar) for us kitties.
ReplyDeleteWe have not tried milk, except for Julie who gets a taste licking out mum's cereal bowl ;)

I'll bet they love it! What about the kind of "cat" milk you get at a pet store? Not sure that would be as appetizing, and I've never given it to my boys. Nicki does love whipped cream (once a year!), and some yogurts (just a lick), but Derry's never shown any interest.
ReplyDeleteTake care and if you're at all in the path of the hurricane, do stay safe!
We don't get milk but sometimes Allie gets a lick of Mom's yogurt.

It's always a mistake to be nice to these creatures. I did that to one. Now I have five...
ReplyDeleteMilk it for what it's worth sweet Boo. Y'all be careful with wicked Dorian.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special treat for them all.
ReplyDeleteWe’re purring that you and everyone else in Florida stays safe from Dorian.
boo....if you think milk is great you HAVE TO try a wee bit of vanilla ice cream ~~~ safety to you all ~~~ hugs from dai$y and the boys =^..*= ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteWhatever makes them happy :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, a little treat now and then never hurts. I've had cats that love cereal milk, but for Mudpie it's greek yogurt.
ReplyDeleteEven though Eric and Flynn were born on a dairy farm amongst the cows, they never liked milk but always drank a lot of water.
ReplyDeleteI hope you stay safe from the hurricane.
