Momma caught me while I was trying to take a nice nappie on top of the TV tray.

I just ignored her.

Fleur De Lis -- Fleur De Lay

*woo hoo* We're slowly getting there.

Back splash -- check!
All under cabinet lightening done -- check!
Canned lighting installed with some tweaking still needed, but still all up-- check!
The refrigerator, wall oven, and cooktop all still need to be installed.
Plastering and patching walls and ceiling need to be completed.
Last thing will be wallpapering -- that's next week.

Travertine back splash with fleur de lis inserts.
All the fleur de lis started because after much consternation over wall paper
one was picked with fleur de lis and unbeknownst to us we had all of these
choices with fleur de lis accents. What is ironic also is that our dining room
chairs also have fleur de lis (which I had forgotten about until all the fleur
started going up!)

They are coming back today (yes SUNDAY!) to finish installing appliances and to fix the walls and ceiling. *woo hoo* Maybe there will be some cooking getting done really soon!

But all that stuff I took out of these cabinets has to go back in.........*sigh*
