Purrs,
Mom says that there is a storm forming named Emily in the Caribbean that may intensify quickly and should be pulled North and come towards the SE coast of the United States. Mom is concerned as we live on the Florida coast. Please purr for all of those who may or may not be affected by this development. August, September and October are the strongest months for Cape Verde Hurricane development in the Atlantic, and it appears Emily will the the first one this year. We hope that she heads out to sea and affects no one.
We hope so too. I hate it when I hear about things like that. Momma says we could never live in Florida because she'd spend three months in a fit of worry, anticipating trouble! Hello handsome Ping!!
ReplyDeletehope everything will be ok there...
ReplyDeleteI will purr very loud for you and all the other kittehs and Humans (okay, woofies too) in the path of the storm.
ReplyDeletePurrs and purrayers fur you kittehz (and beans) through the upcoming season. Stay safe. xoxo
ReplyDeletePaws crossed that Emily does not come to pay you a visit!
ReplyDeleteWe hope that Emily blows herself out over the sea and that nobody comes to any harm. It must be very scarey. We get strong winds here sometimes in the winter, but nothing like a hurricane. Take care :)xx

ReplyDeleteWe certainly are sending tons of purrs so that those darn hurricanes don't come your way. Our Mom used to live in Charleston, SC, so she knows all about running from the hurricanes. We hope the best for all of you.

ReplyDeleteGood morning precious friend
ReplyDeleteyou are looking very pretty today.
We hope Emily looses steam over Espanola..at least that is what our weather gurus expect.
My sis and her hubby live on the NC coast about 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean...we worry every year.
Hugs madi
We will all purr very hard and maybe we can blow it out to sea and away from our friends!

We are purraying that Emily will blow herself out and not hit any of our friends. We are only a couple of hours inland from the Texas Gulf Coast, so we can understand hurricanes!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe send our love.
You look so wonderfully sleepy there. We do hope no one takes any damage from the 'cane.
ReplyDeleteOh, we hope Hurricane Emily will track out to sea and not come near!
ReplyDeleteWe are also aware hurricane season has begun. We are quite a bit north of you in eastern Canada, but hurricanes often track along the warm ocean currents and hit us too. Our last one was 'Earl' almost a year ago; we had to clean up lots of tree falls, but no damage to us thankfully.
I'm on my way to stop the hurricanes!
ReplyDeleteWe are purring that everyone will be safe and the hurricane will not come inland.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Abby, you are wise to let your Mom worry about hurricanes...we hope Emily heads to sea with no damage done.
ReplyDeleteWe will be keeping all in our prayers and hope the hurricane does not hit land sweet Abby. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteWe are purring that you will be safe!!!
ReplyDeleteWe will keep a close watch on the NOAA website to see what is being predicted. be safe!
ReplyDeleteI am back. Here's the website we went to.

It looks as if they don't predict it will reach hurricane strength at all. Sure hope that is correct.
Abby, you're just a sweet girl, aren't you? We hope you and your family stay safe this hurricane season.
ReplyDeletePURRRRRRR, I will purr so VERY loud my guardian will think she has to take me to the vet! (But don't worry, I will claw my way out of that situation).
