It's gardenia time.
This bush is full from top to bottom.
It's so full it's making the limb bow.
This bush was my Grandmother's.
She had it in a small pot, and when she died, I took many
of her plants including this one.
I planted it in the yard.
It has grown ten fold since I've had it since 2002.
But,it reminds me of her and I think she would
love to see how well it is doing.
Thank you for visiting with us this week.
We enjoyed sharing what is currently blooming
in our garden, what's in yours?
UPDATE:
My sweet Boo has been vomiting now for several days.
I had hoped it would pass.
But it hasn't.
So she is off to her Vet today at 4PM EST.
Please keep her in your purrs.
Mama loves gardenias. And if I had Ping in my garden I would not be looking over on the other side of the fence (where yes, um, the grass IS greener because we have none...)
ReplyDeleteI bet those gardenias smell heavenly too!

Gardenias smell so good! Our grandpeep grew a huge gardenia in her garden from a tiny cutting, and our head peep wishes she had cut a piece before she sold the house. Heirloom plants are extra special, aren't they?
