Mancat Monday With Ping

Ping is not a happy kitty.

There are cats who come through our back yard on their way to a wooded area adjacent to our property.

He also lets out 'yowls' as big if not bigger than his tail!
He scares all the other cats in the house when he goes rouge.

UPDATE ON DADDY
Daddy got a second opinion on his torn rotator cuff.
The doctor is having him do exercises to see if he can rehab his shoulder without surgery.
He goes back in two weeks for reevaluation.
Please purr that Daddy shows some any improvement,so he won't have to have surgery!

Psst....
Someone in our house is in BIG trouble!

Momma got bite and scratched.

(this is my right hand, and I am right handed...taking pictures with my left hand...not.so.good)

Culprit

Abby got mad at me.
She got "that look" in her eyes as I was playing Scrabble on my iPad (oh my it's addictive!!) and she wanted something. When she gave me a small bite on my hand I tried to move her with the iPad case and she *whapped* me with the full force of her claws. It doesn't look too bad, but let me tell you she got my nail bed and that hurts like a bee! I was not too happy with her so I put her out of the bedroom and it was only her Daddy telling me that she was sitting next to him in the den (which she never does) that got her back into the bedroom. She got NO more treats that night and a chilly reception from Mom.

Thursdays In The Garden With Jonesie

We don't normally do Society of the Feline Gardeners because well kitties we don't have much of a garden to show.
But the pawrents were out this week cleaning up after winter's harshness and Mom saw her camellias were starting to bloom.

DO you know she did not even notice that bumble bee in the camellia until it flew at her! Otherwise she would have aimed her camera UP a little.

Here we are outside in the warm breezes enjoying the whiffs and taking the winter crud off.

Awesome Blog Award

Simba very kindly nominated us for this pawsome award and the rules are:
I am supposed to write 7 things about myself, nominate 15 blogs to receive the award, and notify them about the award.
1.I sit on the side of the faucet and meow for Mom to come and get me fresh water.
2.I have to fed first. Naturally because I am top cat!
3.I will not use a shared litter box. Mom had to figure out to buy training pads and I use those instead.
4.I love PARTY MIX. I double dare Momma not to feed me crunch after crunch.
5.Every evening I have to sit in Mom's lap while she plays Scrabble on her iPad. (she is addicted to Scrabble)
6.I hop up on the table and sit on the edge and lure Mom into coming over so she can pet me. But I move away before I let her touch me and then I come back and head butt her. I make her to this over and over again. Then I will eat my crunchies.
7. I refuse to let Mom clip my nails. The last time she tried she had to use insulated leather gloves and I nearly bite through those. She learned to let the Vet do it. I have no problem with the Vet doing it because I am frozen.

Nightcats

This is a typical evening. I sit in Mom's lap and Boo sits near Mom.
As you can see I have the best view.
Mom time for a snack. Pop out some of those delicious treats.
Well let me take a little bath first.
And a good yawn.
Now it's time for some noms!
Boo moved onto the bed. She's giving me her laser eye stare down!!
Now kitties you will not believe what Mom did! She took the next two pictures at 1AM right after we had all settled in for the night. The room was completely dark and BOOM there were two shots of intense light. Mom did not have her glasses on so she did not know what the pictures were going to look like but she wanted to show you how we sleep. I sleep on top of Mom (Mom is lying flat on her back) and you can see Boo's little ears by Mom's feet.
Mom has to sleep like this all night long because we don't move.
Well this is our normal night routine, what's yours?

This past Saturday night, Mom turned on Animal Planet and found a new show she had never seen before called MUST LOVE CATS. It was fabulous.

(1) Mom has done a good job of blogging every day , so we rewarded her with one day she can blog anything she likes (which she does on Saturdays) 4 paws
(2)I say she doesn't put my picture up everyday and this is my blog. She says I have to share it with my other brofurs and sisfurs. 2 paws
(3) OH no she doesn't! The only time she has contact information is at Christmas time when we do our Chrismousey Card exchange. 2 swats
(4) Mom does pretty good. She tries to help us enter contests and bid on auctions, and visit the Chazty room when we can. 4 paws
(5) We hope efurryone enjoys visiting, we do try to make it fun! 2 paws
(6) I think Mom should have more stories about ME ME ME everyday! She says that ain't gonna happen. drats...I give her 2 paws....

This Sunday's Dilemma

Remember a few weeks ago we mentioned Daddy fell down onto the concrete driveway?
He had to go and have a test called arthrogram.
IT was no fun kitties.
Well it turns out he has a torn rotator cuff.
So we are waiting until he goes back to his Vet to see what is going to happen next.

There was an adoption-a-thon going on down from Pet*mart yesterday
so only 2 cats from Lucky Cat Adoptions left for two forever homes.
But two is better than none.
Hopefully next week will be much better!

Blogger Limits

I just read an article from Bloggers Tips that listed the following information which I thought might be good to pass onto anyone who uses blogger for their blogs.

What are the limits on my Blogger account?
We try to give you a lot of room to play here on Blogger, so you'll see that a lot of the important "limits" here aren't really very limiting. But just in case you were wondering, here is some information about about what a single Blogger account will hold.

Number of Blogs: You can have as many blogs as you like on one account Update: You can have a maximum 100 blogs in one account).

Number of Posts: There is no limit on the number of posts you can have on one blog. They will all be saved on your account (unless you manually delete them) regardless of whether you are publishing archives or not.

Size of Posts: Individual posts do not have a specific size limit, but very large posts may run you up against the page size limit. (See the next item.)

Size of Pages: Individual pages (the main page of your blog, or your archive pages) are limited to 1 MB in size. This will allow for a few hundred pages of text, but it may be a problem if you are listing hundreds of posts on the front page of your blog. If you hit this limit, you will see an error message saying "006 Please contact Blogger Support." You can get around this error by lowering the number of posts on your main page, which will have the added benefit of making your page load faster as well.

Number of Comments: A post can have any number of comments. As with archived posts, if you choose to hide comments on your blog, all pre-existing comments will remain saved on your account.

If you knew Pablo he left pawprints all over your heart. Pablo had been quite ill the past few months, having good days and bad, until his little body could not take anymore struggles and today his Mom and Dad made the selfless decision to let Pablo go to the Rainbow Bridge. Rightfully so his Mom and Dad, Kate and Nick are suffering a deep heartbreak, one that will be hard to erase. If you can in the next day or so, please drop in and give them a word of encouragement, and if you knew Pablo send him a whisker kiss at the Rainbow Bridge. Goodbye for now sweet Pabs, you will be missed by many.
