Mom is going to tell you a secret about me.
She says I am an OCD CAT.
What in the world does
O

mean?
She says I am compulsive, and that I do
the same thing over and over again,
and I won't deviate.
Who are you calling a deviant?
Oh she just means I don't change the
order I do things.
***
I have to admit I had a rough start in life,
and Mom believes the reason we
were all abandoned (me, Jinx & Boo)
was because I was such a wild child.
***
But, I'm insecure, and even after
12 years I still need to do things
the exact same way day after day.
Mom says she loves me anyway,
even if I still am a wild child.
Hey, we can all be a lil OCD sometimes. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think lots of kitties are OCD!
ReplyDeleteOh Ping you are such a beautiful boy.
ReplyDeleteOh Ping! I love that you are your Mama's wild child!
ReplyDeleteWe have some history that we don't tell our moms but still haunt us. True with Buster.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
It's okay if you're OCD, Ping. A lot of humans are too! We love you regardless! ♥
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel safe, Ping, you go right ahead. You're safe, anyway, but there is no harm in doing things your way.
ReplyDeleteAh, routine oriented. Yeah, our Mom calls us ginger kitties that. She says gingers are the most apt of all cats to prefer orderly routine in their lives. Which is why our sister Patrol Sergeant Zuzu is sitting here, making sure Mom gets her Monday morning commenting done. Trust us, no one wants to listen to Zuzu complaining that HER Monday morning routine wasn't followed.
ReplyDeleteI think most cats like things done in the same order every day. They love being on a schedule.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh Ping that is okey doeky fine with us that you like things like you like them. Your eyes are STILL gorgeous
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
that's the best kind of home - where you're accepted even if you are OCD.
ReplyDeleteCats love routine. We're all a little OCD. Maybe you're just extra-catlike.
ReplyDeletedood....ocd izza way oh life for uz in trout towne; let uz catch a toona ona monday inn sted oh a mackerull & we all go a bit crazed !!! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't love you, Handsome!?
ReplyDeleteYou're such a sweetheart, Ping, and you have a purrfectly wonderful mom!
ReplyDeleteOf course she loves sweet adorable Ping :)
ReplyDeleteyou're just a creature of habit (as MANY cats are), nothing wrong with that! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy your mom supports your habits, as quirky as they may be. Cats deserve nothing less than our perfect understanding!
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Ping, of course, your mom loves you. Lots of humans also have OCD, and it's not so bad. It means your humans know what to expect from you. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeletePing, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be secure in your routine, you're purrfect after all!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, we think that's just being a cat. Cats are a bit OCD...or at least that's what the mom tells us.
ReplyDeletePing, we understand, dude. I think all cats like to have a regular routine. :)
ReplyDeletePing, we are all creatures of habit. What's wonderful is that you have a family who loves you and lets you be quirky (or OCD).
ReplyDeleteRoutine is what we kitties thrive on, so go ahead and keep up doing what you like to do, your way!!
